Interview with Rolling Stone Questions

Why did you choose these band members?

We all chose them because Spider Josh and Burning Hart are awesome guitarists, the Boosting Drummer K rocks and Flaming V has an incredible flaming voice.

Why did you choose 'The Junior Saints' as a band name?

We chose it because of KNOWLEDGE...she came up with it because it is a game that's really awesome. She 'borrowed' the game name from EB games.

Where did you meet?

We formed a team and then broke up and formed another group at an old graveyard. We got into jail again so we had to wreck everything and the guards got sick of fixing everything that we broke so they just let us out.

When did you meet?

We met while Drumbo K was playing her bins and Burning Hart and Spider Josh were playing their made up guitars. Flaming V didn’t need to use anything cos she had a flaming voice.

When did you start your band?

We started our band in prison at 5:00 in the morning. Knowledge stole some bins from the cafeteria and used them as drums. We also made an awesome guitar out of shoelaces man! We didn’t even need a microphone cos Flaming V’s voice is super loud man.

What are the names of people in your band?

The names of the people are Spider Josh playing bass, Flaming V the singer, Burning Hart the guitarist and Drumbo K the Drummer.

Who sings your band song?

The Band who sings Barracuda is Heart. Their group has made awesome songs for us only to sing. Well, the truth is that WE actually wrote the song years ago and we let them sing it, but now we want it back!

Why did you choose that song?

We chose it because it was Flaming V didn’t know what to choose, so we started thinking about our old song man.

Do you enjoy performing?

We really enjoy it because we get to break all our instruments and then our manager gets angry cause he has to buy instruments for us after every concert we do.

The manager has to keep on wasting money to get new equipment for us to use and break again.

Why did you go to Jail?

We went to Jail because we graffitied in every school in Australia with our killer band logo.

When we were choosing our band song we chose Barracuda by - Heart. Before that we listened to all the songs and everyone said that the singer could choose the song so we chose random songs because there is a long list of them.

Monday, August 20, 201

Day 1-6/8/12

Today we were introduced to our new inquiry called Rock Quest. We had to form groups of 4. In my group there is Knowledge S, Hartley N, Vicky T and Josh A. We also had to choose  our band name. We created a book and decorated it like rock. (ROCK ON!) Today was a successful day.

Day 2-10/8/12

Today we made lots of digital logos on our laptop and put it on the server but before that we had to put all of our previous logos on the server. My favourite one was the purple one. After that we could make a logo on the TV but our group didn't have a chance to do it. We all had fun today.

Day 3-13/8/12

Today we signed into our blogspot and explored the things we can do to make our website look the best we can make it. Some people got to play the Wii on guitar hero but my group didn't. It looked a bit hard. We added a few things like how much pageviews. We had lots of fun.

Day 4-14/8/12

Today we focused lots on our band logos but first we all made ours on paper. I wrote “The Junior Saints.” After that we could make it on our laptops. My group didn’t have enough time to make it. While we were making it Josh spilled some ink on our table.  Some people even got to do it on the Wii but my group didn’t. Today was a very successful day.

Day 5- 24/8/12

Today we made a new post called "Band Logo." After that we started making our post and after we had finished our description about it we had to put a link which was our official video song. My group was first called out so we started to practice our band song on beginner mode. Today was such an awesome day!

Day 6- 4/9/12

Today we continued on our interview with Rolling Stone and after that Mr Martinez showed us 3 videos wether it is a Radio/ Magazine/ TV interview. After that we made a magazine cover to prove that we are famous and we featured some bands son they had to feature us. Some bands had cool magazine covers. Today was the BEST DAY!

Day 7- 18/9/12

Today we almost had a photo shoot but some people forgot to bring their costume........ The only thing we could do was write in our journals. We all thought we could just put some adjusting with our Rolling Stone magazine but today was a bit fun.

Day 8- 9/10/12

Today we got to finish our Rolling Stone magazine cover for Rock Quest. Our one was AWESOME cause of Flaming V's pinkie was just a line in the picture so we had to go online to get a fake pinkie and no one noticed it yet. IT WAS AN AMAZING DAY!

Day 9- 10/10/12

Today we had to make a concert band poster for our Rock Quest. Our one was so AWESOME cause of Flaming V, Burning Heart and Spider Josh. We da best!

Day 10- 15/10/12

Today we just had band rehearsals. We were all on easy mode but everyone failed to we HAVE TO TRY HARDER! Singing was the easiest and the drums were the hardest. Today was a Rocking Day!
